É a primeira praia à esquerda de quem chega à cidade. Fica entre a Praia do Foguete, em Cabo Frio, e o Morro do Miranda, a 4 km do centro de Arraial. Tem 700 m de extensão e mar calmo, e é boa para a pesca de arrastão.
