Surrounded by an imposing landscape and, having the plateau as a setting, the Enquelga hot springs show nature in all its splendor. In the middle of the highlands, where temperatures do not exceed 11 degrees Celsius, warm waters gush out in the middle of the arid desert. They are natural pools of crystalline waters, where the presence of gentle hills and wide plains are crowned in the distance by the Andean peaks.





Enquelga is a town located a few kilometers west of Isluga, in the Tarapacá Region, in Iquique.

By plane

There are daily frequencies that depart from the National Airport in Santiago de Chile. You can check the frequencies from other cities such as Arica, La Serena and Copiapó. The plane arrives at the Iquique airport.

By car

It can be accessed by the Pan-American Highway from the south or north. From the north the closest city is Arica, which is 307 km away. From the south, the entrance door is through Calama, 389 km. away.

By bus

Enquelga itself is a traditional town on the Altiplano, made up of about 90 houses. The Enquelga wetland stands out in the immediate surroundings, where abundant llamas and alpacas graze. The village church is characterized by the pointed bell tower. The interior is decorated with polychrome murals.

In walks through the sector you will be able to appreciate the varied fauna, of which the coirones stand out. You will find camping and picnic areas.
