The Podestá Coliseum responds to the type of Italian Theater in the shape of a horseshoe, typical of the 19th century.
It is accessed through the Foyer or Hall, then it is passed to the room that contains three orders of superimposed boxes, which are called boxes and trays, gathering and paradise. The enhancement involved reupholstering the stalls, treating the valuable images and motifs that decorate the friezes and ornaments on the fronts of the boxes and columns with leaf gold, and recycling the bleachers on both upper levels.

A work of art
Composed of an Italian canvas painted by J. Bouchet, it is a scenographic composition that speaks of the passage from day to night.
The curved plaster throat frames the canvas and is decorated with themes related to poetry, literature and universal music.
Both elements, in addition to their decorative and acoustic function, give the room character.
