In the north of the area you will find costal villages and in the south the mountains. Salas is located fairly close to the most populated areas of Asturias and the airport.

Rivers: The Narcea 30km of river and is the main salmon fishing river in Asturias. There is also the Noraya and the Arabguin river where you can fish and canoe.
The nicest thing about this castle, unlike some others, is the way it blends in perfectly with the surroundings and complements the rest of the local architecture.
