Set in the Ribera del Duero wine-making region, in the small village of Peñalba de San Esteban, Casa Rural La Prensa de Vino features a 19th-century wine cellar.
Each room comes with a flat-screen TV, heating, wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. The entire house, with 5 twin bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, can also be reserved. It includes an open-plan living room and a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and oven.
Traditional Castilian dishes, including truffles and roast lamb, can be prepared on request, as well as wine tastings in the cellar. A grocery delivery service is also available. There are shops and restaurants in San Esteban de Gormaz, 8 km away.
The Roman ruins at Tiernes are a 35-minute drive from La Prensa de Vino, while you can reach pretty Burgo de Osma in 20 minutes. Aranda de Duero is 50 km from the house and Soria is within an hour’s drive.
