Offering its own wine cellar, B&B Casa Ciolina is set in a secluded location in the countryside, an 8-minute drive from the city of Peer. This bed and breakfast is housed in a former farmhouse originating in 1848, offering wellness facilities, an indoor swimming pool and accommodation with free access to wireless internet.
Each guest room at B&B Casa Ciolina is furnished with a TV and a minibar. The en-suite bathroom comes with a shower and/or a bath, free toiletries, a hairdryer, slippers and a bathrobe.
Breakfast is served every morning, and guests can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks as well as small snacks throughout the day. When the weather is nice, you can sit out on the garden terrace with a drink. A grocery store is available at the property. Guests can also have meals on site, upon prior communication with the owner.
Guests enjoy free access to the indoor swimming pool for an extra fee on certain hours of the day. There is a library and sun loungers are provided in the garden, as well as an outside bar. In summertime BBQ is possible upon request. You can rent bicycles and scooters on site.
Hasselt is a 30-minute drive from B&B Casa Ciolina. Eindhoven in the Netherlands is a 40-minute journey by car. The centre of Genk and the Hoge Kempen National Park are within 28 km from the bed and breakfast. You will also find a large indoor ski slope 5 km away. You will be welcomed in a restored 19th century building with a rich history. Starting out as a soap factory, the building was eventually transformed into a striking farm residence with a private courtyard.
The old, spacious stables have been converted into a very luxurious swimming pool. Surrounded by promenades around the blue water, you will feel as though you are at a Roman bath. In the back tasteful lounge sofas with grey and red cushions invite you to relax.
The completely wooden sauna offers space for at least 7 people.
