Guests sleep in traditional futon bedding on the ground floor. They can cook meals in the kitchen, which is equipped with a cooking stove, a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom includes a bathtub and toiletries.
The Bamboo House is a 20-minute bus ride to the Shijo area. Buses come every 5-10 minutes to the nearby Senbon Kitaoji bus stop, situated a 5-minute walk away from the property.
Kinkaku-ji Temple, Daitoku-ji Temple and the Funaoka-Onsen hot-spring are all within a 15-minute walk. A convenience store is a 5-minute stroll away. Guests can also explore the Arashiyama area with free-use bicycles that can be borrowed on site.
