Each one of the 18 thematic coaches onboard The Golden Chariot draws inspiration from the Mysore and Belur-Halebeedu schools of art and architecture.
Guests can indulge at the two specialty restaurants each day providing a menu that is unique and authentic to the destination. The sumptuous Indian menu is also well complemented by a continental spread. Madira, the onboard lounge bar offers guests a chance to unwind to fine spirits while being serenaded by performances from local artisans.

This luxury train travels through the historic and cultural sights of South India with a fixed itinerary. Day 1 in Bangalore, Day 2 in Mysore and Kabini, Day 3 in Kabini and Mysore, Day 4 in Hassan, Day 5 in Hospet and Hampi, Day 6 in Badami, Day 7 in Goa and Day 8 back to Bangalore. In 2016, the date is 5th December. In 2017, the dates are 16th January, 13th February, and 13th March.
