Surrounded by a garden, Berggasthaus Höllensteinhütte is 4 km from the Hintertuxer Gletscher Ski Area and 4 km from the centre of Tux, and it houses a restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine.
Breakfast is served every morning. All rooms come with a seating area and most of them have a shared shower and toilet. A sauna can be used by all guests.
In the summertime it is possible to drive up in front of the house, while in winter, a free shuttle service only at check-in and check-out is available upon request (extra charge for additional shuttle service).
In winter, guests can use toboggans for reaching the village's centre, while a taxi shuttle is available at a surcharge for going back to the property.
A private cross-country skiing track is right outside. At Sport-Moden Bernhard guests receive a 10% discount on ski rentals.
